UDPATE 9 FEB 2011: Egypt – Middle East – The Critical Post/Chi

(TCP)CHICAGO – A young woman partaking in the protests in Tahrir Square being interviewed by an Al Jazeera reporter at the scene, was heard on the live feed by us, that the various political factions that are talking to Egyptian governmental officials which include Vice President Omar Suleiman, do not represent the people that are in protest of the outgoing regime. The women was heard as saying that there is a group of citizens that are forming a committee to consider what their next moves will be. “However,” the women said, “they can do whatever they want, but we the people have already made our demands and they know what we want. So it doesn’t matter what they say to whoever is up there talking, it does not matter to us.” [...]
