(TCP)CHICAGO – Opinion – The latest averages continue to show that polling data will move the vote the way the averages show things are going on in the “minds” of the American electorate. What we are not certain of regarding the organizations contributing to this data is how well the polling questions are framed. Are the questions and the interviewers completely, scientifically unbiased? We suspect in some cases they are not. A few of the organizations we do not trust are Pew, CBS and CNN.

Wow, did the dollar move down this week! It dropped more than it has in quite a while. It fell 1.3mg gold, or 0.1g silver. Gold and silver bugs of course are excited, as they look at it as the prices of the metals going up $55 and 72 cents respectively. The collapse of what […]

  • Steve Keen Exposes Our Dysfunctional Monetary System February 8, 2016
Authored by Steve Keen, originally posted at, The great tragedy of the global economic malaise is that it is caused by a shortage of something that is essentially costless to produce: money. Both banks and governments can produce money at physically trivial costs. Banks create money by creating a loan, and the establishment costs […]

  • Venezuela Prepares To Liquidate Its Remaining Gold Holdings To Pay Coming Debt Maturities February 8, 2016

  • Even The Fed's "Owners" Aren't Buying What Janet Is Selling February 8, 2016
Despite a collapse in yields and implicit plunge in the odds of a rate-hike anytime soon, asset-gathering, commission-taking talking-heads continue to spew unrealities about the economy and where it goes next as excuse after excuse (low oil is good, services trump manufacturing etc) are discarded. What is worse is that none other than The Fed's […]
